International Partnerships Project Manager
Recruitment and Partnerships has been relatively recently set up, combining U.K. and International functions around recruitment and collaborative work. The International Partnerships team, based at Westleigh, consists of the International Partnerships and Study Abroad teams. International Partnerships facilitates UCLan's international collaborative work, supporting existing partnerships around the world and developing new international links for the University. It is within the International Partnerships team that a fixed-term, maternity cover vacancy has arisen.
The International Partnerships Project Manager will be responsible for the identification, development and project management of international partnerships in specified countries or regions. This is a key role in facilitating the implementation of the University's International Partnership Strategy, part of the wider UCLan Internationalisation Strategy. This post will focus particularly on the operational management of specified overseas partnerships around the world, providing specialist support to colleagues across the University and working to build overseas strategic networks which enhance the University's international status for the benefit of both overseas partners and staff and students in Preston.
With experience of working within an International Office within HE and a track-record of supporting business development activities, you will hold a degree or the equivalent professional experience. Utilising excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, you will have the ability to build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively.
