Social Work Outreach Educator
The purpose of this new role is to support outreach work with the new Degree Apprenticeship Programme in Social Work, the activities of the School of Social Work, Care and Community, and the University of Central Lancashire, in regards to teaching, learning and assessment. The Degree Apprenticeship programme is a new concept in work/practice based education and this post provides a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting national development.
The post requires liaison with the employers and travel across a wide geographical area. With recent experience of practice and educational learning, you will be a registered Social Worker holding a BA in a relevant subject and hold or be willing to undertake a teaching qualification. Essential skills for success in this role include planning, organisational, report writing and IT skills. You will have an enthusiastic, innovative and creative approach, be effective at time management and have good interpersonal skills.
