Applications are invited to the above role to provide administrative support to the new Undergraduate Degree in Sports and Exercise Science. The role holder will have specific responsibility for the development, management and delivery of the personal development portfolios that form a compulsory part of the learning experience of the students. The role will also support course administration and recruitment and marketing. The role will involve working with a wide range of colleagues in the School of Life Sciences, the School of Medicine, the Faculty of Engineering, the David Ross Sports Village and outside organisations involved in sport provision.

Candidates must hold a HNC/HND or equivalent plus English and maths at GCSE or equivalent OR substantial work experience in further or higher education as well as significant office experience within higher education or other educational environments.

The role holder must have a high level of communication and IT skills and have experience of liaising with students, staff and outside organisations as well as organising meetings and taking minutes. Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team is also required. 

This position is full-time fixed-term until 28 May 2021. Occasional out of hours working may be required due to the nature of the role. Applications for job share will be accepted.
