Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Assistant Professor in Chemical Pathology in the Department of Pathology, to commence as soon as possible, on a four-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Hong Kong Medical Council, and a professional qualification in Chemical Pathology (FHKCPath, FRCPath, FRCPA or equivalent, such as an American Board certification), with sub-specialization in toxicology and genetics. They should also have a solid track record of clinical services in chemical pathology; teaching and research experience/track record including publications and grant application, and a strong commitment to medical education and research. The appointee will contribute to clinical services in chemical pathology, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development; conduct research and apply for research funding; and assist in administrative duties in the Department and the Faculty. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidate. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
