About the job

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver analytical and decision services to inform Swinburne’s digital marketing strategy and optimisation of marketing efforts through detailed analysis and optimisation techniques, using the Adobe Experience Cloud suite of tools as well as first and second data sources to enhance insight.

Using your proven expertise in marketing and/or customer analytics, you will provide structured and data-backed analytics solutions to optimise marketing effectiveness and campaign return on investment. The role demands an innovative approach with evolving analytical techniques and technologies to develop true end-to-end views of the customer experience and outcomes to inform marketing effectiveness.

The role requires that you build a strong rapport with a variety of stakeholders by providing advice on complex issues and acting as a trusted and authoritative business partner on all marketing and customer analytics-related aspects.

This primarily digital role interfaces closely with both the marketing team and the business analytics team.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant university qualifications, with demonstrated in-depth numerical and analytical skills; or equivalent experience 
  • Experience in digital/marketing/customer analytics, and hands-on experience in marketing technology (analytics implementation and tag management)
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with a proven ability to effectively consult with and influence stakeholders, map project deliverables, and advise on suitable approaches
