About the role

In this role you will provide executive support to the School leadership team. In collaboration with the Administration Coordinator and School Manager, you will ensure that School objectives are met and that University policies and procedures are followed. In this role you will be responsible for a range of confidential matters which will require you to use your judgement, initiatives, discretion and independence. You will be the first point of contact for the Head of School and will welcome visitors and manage calls, manage the diary, arrange office equipment and room allocations, identify and follow up meeting actions, and work with travel and expense management.

Skills & Experience

To be successful you will have completed a degree or have a combination of experience, education and training. You will have high level experience as an executive assistant and demonstrated ability to provide general direction to other staff. To succeed in this role, you will possess strong organisational, communication, interpersonal and computer skills. You will also have the ability to work independently and positively contribute to an effective team.

All La Trobe University employees are bound by the Working with Children Act 2005.  If you are successful, you will be required to hold a valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
