Salary:     £17,764 to £20,989 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

This part time position provides essential administrative and reception support to the Recruitment and Admissions team. Located in the International Student Recruitment office this role has shared responsibility for the smooth running of the reception for International Recruitment and undertaking administrative processes relating to the recruitment of international students. The successful candidate will usually split their day half and half between reception and desk based activity, this post offers variety and interacts with a wide range of University colleagues, students and external stakeholders.

Along with providing reception cover – dealing with incoming calls and visitors, answering a wide range of enquiries, in person, on the telephone and via email this role also involves the organisation of prospective international student visits.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, the ability to adapt and learn new applications whilst demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office & email.

This position is a fixed term 12 month maternity cover, part time 21.75 hours per week. Monday - Wednesday
