The Financial Performance and Analytical Services Group consists of three main areas: Finance, Source to Pay and Corporate Planning & Analytics.  FPAS contributes to the strong financial performance of the University, ensuring UNE’s finances are sustainable and support the broader vision for UNE to improve the lives of the communities it serves.

About the role

The Associate Director Source to Pay (S2P) is a strategic and tactical role, responsible for leading and driving the University's category management and sourcing strategies, ensuring maximum value for money. The position is responsible for instilling and enabling sourcing and procurement capability across the University, delivering transformational change across the entire S2P process. Reporting to the Deputy CFO, the position will provide leadership to the S2P team in providing procurement and sourcing expertise and expense management guidance to all stakeholders across the University. 

Skills & Experience

You will have significant experience in developing and implementing category management and sourcing strategies within a large and complex environment.  High level analytical and problem solving skills with the capacity to think strategically, be innovative and the ability to develop and implement long term plans and strategies are essential.  In addition, you will have exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
