This is a full time post

This is a permanent key role in support of King’s Arts & Humanities Research Strategy. Based in the Faculty Office, the Research Excellence Framework (REF) Coordinator will work closely with the Faculty to plan and deliver its REF strategy, and to coordinate the management and administration process underpinning the Faculty’s submissions. This will include the planning and facilitation of a training and development programme for staff involved in the submission exercise, to disseminate policy guidance, and to support academic staff in preparing for submission.
 
We are seeking an excellent communicator, with well-established organisational skills and abilities and an analytical, problem-solving approach. The ability to understand, synthesise and disseminate complex policy documents as well as datasets will be essential, as will good interpersonal skills which will allow you to build relationships across all levels of the organisation, and with external stakeholders and networks. Previous experience with REF/RAE exercises, Impact case studies in particular and/or of working in a university research environment will be essential to the role.
