Summary of role
The Administrative Assistant supports the activities of the Student Conduct Office team and ensures that student complaints and reports about student misconduct are effectively managed and recorded. The post holder will provide timely and accurate advice to staff and students and keep all parties updated on progress and actions. In addition, the role will provide a high level of administrative support to the Director of Student Support and Wellbeing.
Relationships and Contacts
The post-holder reports to the Head of the Student Conduct Office and will also work on a day-to-day basis with the Director of Student Support and Wellbeing.
The post will involve working with Senior University officers regarding student discipline and complaint matters, including the staff identified to investigate cases, Heads of Academic Departments, Heads of Colleges, Heads of Professional Support Services, Departmental Administrators, Deputy Heads of Faculty, and Faculty Administrators.
The post also involves co-ordinating the diary and commitments of the Director of Student Support and Wellbeing, managing his/her diary and responding to correspondence on their behalf.
