Lecturer in Social Work and Mental Health Services
The University of Central Lancashire School for Social Work Care and Community is seeking a lecturer in Social Work (Mental Health) to contribute to our outstanding portfolio of professional and non-vocational programmes. This is an exciting time to join our excellent team as we are moving into new areas of social work education, such as Degree Apprenticeships. With teaching experience in HE/FE, the successful applicant will also have experience of working as a Social Worker in an appropriate field. Educated to higher degree level, the successful applicant will be a registered Social Worker and hold a PhD or substantial professional experience. With a flexible and innovative approach to learning and teaching, the successful applicant will have the ability to teach and supervise dissertations up to Masters level.
DBS clearance is required and must be in place prior to starting.
