Position overview

ANU Online is a central unit that enables and empowers innovation and transformative practice at the intersection of technology, learning and teaching at ANU. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Senior Learning Designer to join the Educational Design Team located within ANU Online, which is part of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) portfolio.

The Senior Learning Designer provides advice and support to academic staff on the integration of digital technology for teaching and learning, assisting academic staff in a diverse range of disciplines to improve course structure and develop instructional media, including guidance for the appropriate use of educational technology in line with the University’s objectives.

The Senior Learning Designer may lead or contribute to: developing and delivering face-to-face and online professional learning for ANU staff; working with Colleges and project teams on innovative educational design projects or educational technology projects; related evaluation activities.
