Future Student Advisor
The University of Canberra is currently seeking two Future Students Advisors to join the Future Students Team. As part of the Marketing unit, this role will work with prospective students – both domestic and international – and teams across the University to drive student enrolment.
Reporting to the Future Students Specialist, this role will engage widely with prospective students and the broader community. You will work closely with Marketing, Global Student Recruitment, Student Connect teams and Faculties to resolve enquiries about studying at UC and support students to complete the application process. Utilising your experience and knowledge of customer service, you will provide high quality information and support from initial enquiry through to application and offer stages. You will develop expert-level skill in navigating the University’s CRM and application portals to maintain prospective student records and update all contacts.
You will have previously worked in a university or customer/client service environment, or similar role. As an energetic team player, you will be able to utilise your experience to provide high quality customer service to improve application and enrolment outcomes for the University. To be successful in this role, you will possess the ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively as well as experience in managing complex customer enquiries. Previous experience in a fast-paced call-centre environment would also be valued. While not essential, cross-cultural experience will be highly regarded.
