This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, professional team working with key stakeholders inside and outside the University to deliver a range of activities as part of the University’s strategy for recruitment and widening participation.

The UK Student Recruitment Team is responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of key recruitment and widening participation outreach initiatives at the University, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Such initiatives include the University Open Days, attendance at school and college events across the country as well as widening participation outreach set out in the University’s Access Agreement.

The successful applicant will lead on a flagship widening participation intervention (such as Access to Bristol or the University’s Sutton Trust Summer School), and work with schools and colleges to generate applications and intake to the University. In addition, the successful applicant will liaise with a designated faculty in order to develop and deliver generalist and subject specific outreach activities.

The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills, be able to innovate and forge partnerships, have experience of delivering activities for young people, and be flexible and hard working.
