Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Infusion Ageing Education in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing, to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
The Centre is conducting an infusion active ageing education champions project. It aims at adopting a soft-socialization approach to support academic staff to bring active ageing content into their disciplinary curriculum.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Sociology, Education or other related disciplines; proficiency in written and oral communication in Chinese and English; excellence in analytical evaluation; familiarity with advanced quantitative and qualitative statistical analyses in social sciences research; and the ability to work independently and as a team. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator to evaluate the feasibility, outcomes and impacts of the project; oversee data collection and analysis; draft reports; and perform other tasks as assigned. He/She will have ample opportunities to work with different faculties, academic professionals and stakeholders in the community.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
