Director of Library and Student Support

The University is seeking to appoint a Director of Library and Student Support (LSS) to ensure the delivery of its strategic objectives for an outstanding learning experience. Library and Student Support brings together an integrated range of services delivering general and specialist support, information and advice to a diverse community of over 18,000 students based in London and over 20,000 students studying for Middlesex awards with our partners and at our international campuses. LSS plays a central role in delivering the University’s strategic priorities and supports key initiatives ranging from the personal tutor network to our expanding peer support activities. 

Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the institution, the Director will be responsible for providing services that are visible, seamless, effective and tailored to the needs of our student community. Candidates should have a track record of leading and delivering institution-wide developments designed to improve students’ learning experience and outcomes. 

The Director will report to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Learning and Innovation and be a member of the University’s senior management team.
