The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) is a large comprehensive Faculty with a broad academic profile and substantial research achievements. The Faculty is based at the St Lucia campus in the iconic Forgan Smith building adjacent to the Great Court of the University. The Faculty comprises seven Schools, two research Institutes, two museums and several school-based research centres.
The successful appointee will assist the Manager, Marketing and Engagement and International Development Manager to develop and implement effective marketing and student recruitment strategies and campaigns that promote academic and research programs offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Applicants should possess a degree in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training. You should also have experience in developing marketing strategies and coordinating student recruitment events. Skills in developing and maintaining website content and managing social media campaigns would be desireable. You should be a team player willing to work across and within a small multidisciplinary marketing, international and engagement team.
This is a full-time, fixed term appointment until 21 June 2019 at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207 - $79,964 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $81,256 - $93,558 p.a.).
