Assistant Director of Information Technology (Information Systems) (PR411/17-18)
Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology, the Assistant Director of Information Technology (Information Systems) is responsible for formulating the development strategies and policies for mission-critical information systems to cope with the vision and missions of the University. He/She will lead a team of system developers to develop, maintain and implement information systems, such as Student Information Systems, Finance Information Systems and Human Resources Systems; to support the daily operations of academic and administrative offices/departments; and to provide various levels of information for the diversified stakeholders of the University community. He/She should possess not only the expertise in information systems development, but also rich knowledge in server, multi-tiers applications as well as databases. Strong business sense of the operations in higher education sector would definitely be a competitive edge.
The Assistant Director of Information Technology (Information Systems) should have strong academic credentials with substantial years of work experience at a senior level. He/She should possess strong leadership with effective communication and interpersonal skills, and substantial project management experience with a proven record of achievement in the field of information systems development.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
