WAAPA offers courses in a range of performing arts disciplines and produces over 300 performances annually across multiple internal and external venues. The Production Assistant provides support to the Production Manager and the production process for these performances. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a full and varied performance schedule with a dynamic team of industry professionals – both established and emerging.

The Production Assistant will assist the Production Manager in supporting the production process at WAAPA, providing administrative support across a broad range of areas, including venue hire contracts, assisting with budget setting and tracking, venue and rehearsal timetabling, coordinating APRA requirements and reporting, as well as liaising with key internal and external stakeholders. 

The role utilises high level organisation and communication skills to facilitate and influence outcomes with relevant stakeholders including students, academic and technical staff and external organisations.

Benefits & Remuneration

This part time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $63,213- $67,429 (pro rata) plus University superannuation contribution.
