We have a fixed term, full time vacancy for a Senior Administrator to join our Student Services team in Sheffield Business School. This is an excellent development opportunity to expand knowledge and experience relating to the delivery of professional course support, specifically for the Department of Management.
The Department of Management support team liaises with key stakeholders within SBS and across the University to provide administrative support for course activities to students, from enquiry and induction through to assessment, results and graduation. In this particular role you'll be responsible for a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Languages and International Business as well as elements of Erasmus support.
The role involves providing advice and guidance to students and staff so you should have excellent customer service skills, experience of working with complex regulations and procedures and advising stakeholders. As you will be working within a team of Senior Administrators, you must be a strong team player with a flexible 'can do' approach as you will be expected to support your peers during busy periods; you'll be expected to share information, contribute ideas and work effectively with your colleagues to deliver a high quality service to staff and students. You'll be able to work to deadlines with accuracy and multi-task on several pieces of work at once - with the ability and self-confidence to use your own initiative and work independently when necessary. The ability to use a variety of IT systems is essential.
Above all, you should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to deliver a first rate student experience.
