The successful candidate will have credibility and standing in a relevant academic discipline, either within the higher education sector or broader research and health science. This person will have a reputation for entrepreneurial leadership and innovative thinking, combined with excellent operational and financial management acumen. A thorough understanding of the fundamental principles of running a successful institution in the UK higher education sector will be key, as will be experience of delivering the highest standards of quality across teaching, student satisfaction and research. The successful candidate will be an effective and highly credible ambassador for the University College, engaging in external partnership building and advocacy on behalf of the institution.
