Research Associate (Information Scientist) (MESARCH)

This post is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and able Research Associate with expertise in information management and/or quantitative techniques to join a multidisciplinary team at Coventry University and to work with academics from the University of Bristol and University of Birmingham, and several charity and NHS partners.

The post-holder will be based in the Centre for Advances in Behavioural Science working directly with Dr Lorna O'Doherty on a landmark study funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

The'Multidisciplinary Evaluation of Sexual Assault Referral Centres for better Health' (MESARCH) project will be the largest evaluation of SARC service provision in England to date. Using a range of methods and wide stakeholder engagement, it will generate much-needed evidence of the impacts of different forms of sexual violence on the health and well being of adults and children. The study is expected to have important implications for health and policing and criminal justice policy and practice.

The role will be to undertake systematic reviews and meta-analyses and contribute to the organisation, storage, security and analysis of quantitative data across the project. There will be opportunities for participation in publications, training, seminars, attendance at conferences and teaching appropriate to the post holder's interests and expertise.

The post is funded from September 2018 for the full duration of the project to August 2021 (3 years).
