About the role

The Group Lead Allied Health and Midwifery, as a member of the School’s executive leadership, works closely with the Dean and the Deputy Head of School to ensure the delivery and quality of allied health and midwifery programs is aligned with School objectives.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and improving the program’s teaching and learning performance, working closely with Course Coordinators to guide the development of quality academic course materials and assessments, and having oversight of accreditation and professional experience activities as they apply to the nursing discipline.

The Group Lead will play a key role in representing the School in partnership arrangements with health providers within the regions and sits on a number of school committees and projects.

About you

With a relevant doctoral qualification and evidence of current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, you will bring to this role a successful and established record of academic or administrative leadership.

Your experience will demonstrate your strengths in people management, communication and inspiring excellence amongst your colleagues; as well as your ability to foster positive relationships and engagement with relevant health and industry bodies.

Evidence of an established research reputation, a strong track record of teaching excellence and experience leading quality course development are also required.
