Leeds Arts University has been formally recognised as the new title for Leeds College of Art, after being granted full university status by the Privy Council.

As a Senior Lecturer in Fine Art you will help plan, design, deliver and organise the BA (Hons) Fine Art degree. You will contribute to the academic management and pastoral overseeing of one of the year cohorts, supporting the relevant Subject Leader. You will be teaching on Fine Art modules across all levels, and lead a module on the course, where appropriate, whilst contributing broadly to other elements within the course.

You will be expected to contribute to the strong studio culture of the BA (Hons) Fine Art with active practice led knowledge in one or several of the following areas: performance, moving image, sound and/or lens based media. You will also be expected to contribute specialist knowledge of the discourses around these practices.

The successful candidate will need to be educated to a minimum of Masters Level, demonstrate experience of teaching at degree level; have experience of exhibiting professionally which is considered essential to contribute to the external student projects and be able to demonstrate the theoretical and art historical knowledge. You will be expected to engage with the University’s research agenda.
