Lecturer Applied Zoology

Full-time, Fixed Term 5 Months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Applied Zoology Lecturer to join the academic team within the School of Science and Sport, at the UWS Paisley Campus.

We are looking for engaged and talented individuals to make a real impact on the local, national and international communities we serve. This post is therefore part of a major investment in new talent and excellence to support our growth plans.

The School of Science and Sport is a multidisciplinary school, with a diverse range of programmes delivered at our Paisley, Hamilton, Ayr and London campuses with a combined total of circa 1600 students. Teaching and Research are at the heart of all of the School's activities; NSS teaching scores are at 100% in some of our Undergraduate programmes, and we are looking to build and diversify from the success of REF2014.

You will be a highly motivated individual with relevant work experience across a wide range of industries, passionate about your discipline and dedicated to delivering the best possible student experience.
The teaching provision is centred on the BSc Hons in Applied Bioscience & Zoology (RSB approved).  The programmes are mainly delivered on Paisley Campus. You will be based at our Paisley Campus, but a willingness to travel, including internationally, is an essential aspect of this post.

For informal enquiries about this post please contact Dr Richard Thacker, Senior Lecturer (0141 848 3463) or Professor Fiona Henriquez, Interim Assistant Dean, Education (0141 848 3119)
