Head of Bruce Hall and Head of South Hall
Classification: Senior Manager 2 (Administration)
Salary: package from $143,000 per annum, to be negotiated
The Australian National University (ANU) is one of Australia’s leading universities, including counting the highest number of Nobel Laureates among its staff and alumni of any Australian university. ANU has the privilege of attracting highly talented students from Australia and from across the world and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of student experience and welfare. At the heart of the ANU model is a unique, integrated approach to the on-campus living environment, with outstanding facilities in place to support the highest proportion of students living on campus in Australia.
Thanks to a wonderful and generous donation from Graham and Louise Tuckwell, the University has been able to create two world-class catered residencies due to open in January 2019. ANU is now delighted to offer two outstanding opportunities to lead these premier Halls of Residence.
- The Head of Bruce Hall will lead a well-established and historic Hall of Residence to be located in brand new facilities as from January 2019. The Head will continue to foster the long and eminent traditions that Bruce Hall is known for, providing an inclusive, supportive and academically challenging environment.
- The Head of ‘South Hall’ (name to be announced in July) will be leading a new state-of-the-art Residential Hall at ANU. The Head will be a dynamic and innovative leader who will enjoy establishing new traditions and a culture of excellence in learning based on the new motto for the Hall: Tenacitas, Comitas, Gratia.
If you are an outstanding leader, with a passion for both the pastoral and academic support of students, and the ability to establish and lead a unique community and culture for the Hall whilst working closely across the academic community at ANU, we would encourage your application.
