The school offers a postgraduate medical program, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate programs and courses in public health, environmental health, health services management, First Peoples' health, academic health practice and paramedicine. This fulltime position supports the school's educational mission and has responsibility for delivery of the DHC curriculum across the four years of the MD program at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute site and affiliated clinical sites. The person appointed will also contribute to the broader mission of the School through scholarly and service activities as negotiated with their supervisor. This position is located primarily at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute site but travel to other locations will be required. It would suit a medical practitioner with an interest in public health and epidemiology or a non-medical public health scholar or practitioner with an interest in medical education.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute, however travel to other campuses and sites will be required.
The successful applicant will hold a bachelors degree or PhD in a relevant discpline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and/or experience. Your knowledge, skills and leadership in implementing high quality curriculum, coupled with experience in the education of medical students within the DHC theme, will be essential.
Lecturer (Level B): $92,511 - $109,860 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $108,239 - $128,537 per annum.
Senior Lecturer (Level C): $113,326 - $130,675 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $132,593 - $152,891 per annum.
