The school offers a postgraduate medical program, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate programs and courses in public health, environmental health, health services management, First Peoples' health, academic health practice and paramedicine. This position supports the school's educational mission and contributes to the implementation of high quality learning and assessment activities in the MD program, primarily related to the DKHI theme. The person appointed will also contribute to the broader mission of the school through scholarly and service activities as negotiated with their supervisor. This position is located primarily at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute site but some travel to other locations will be required. The role would suit a medical graduate or medical scientist with experience in teaching pathology at university level.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute, however travel to other campuses and sites will be required.
The successful applicant will hold a Bachelor's degree or PhD in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and/or experience. Your knowledge, skills and experience in teaching and curriculum development in the discipline of pathology, coupled with your ability to organise and coordinate a complex program of activities, will be essential.
Lecturer, Level B: $92,511 - $109,860 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $108,239 - $128,537 per annum.
