The School of Nursing, Massey University, has a reputation for high quality nursing programmes focused on improving health outcomes for people in New Zealand and internationally. We are proud of our robust research culture and currently undertake teaching, research and professional service in Nursing. The School is seeking a full- or part-time nursing lecturer to be based on the Wellington campus. We are willing to consider varied flexible working situations as we realise that registered nurses have a range of options and may want to maintain connections with other clinical contexts and roles.

This will be through the delivery of innovative, quality nursing programmes which will prepare new graduates and registered nurses to contribute through practice and leadership, to the health outcomes for the people of New Zealand and internationally. In the position you will actively contribute to the on-going development of nursing education within the university setting and externally including the development and implementation of innovative future-focused teaching practices.
Ideally, you will have a completed Masters in Nursing or a related discipline, preference may be given to a Registered Nurse with, or studying towards, a PhD in nursing or an associated discipline.
You will be registered or be eligible for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold/obtain a current Annual Practising Certificate.
