Department of Natural and Built Environment is looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Environmental Architecture to join our team. Our architecture courses have a reputation for teaching quality and high levels of student support and satisfaction. We have a strong academic community committed to the critical and creative investigation of environmental and social agendas in architecture and the pursuit of technical excellence.

You will play a leading role in the development of innovative environmental teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Architecture and Architectural Technology and teach in the design studios.

You must have experience of teaching architectural design at undergraduate level in the higher education sector and must have up to date expertise in low-energy design and construction. The ability to inspire and motivate students and deliver high quality, vibrant and challenging learning experiences is essential. A good honours degree (i.e. UK 2.1 or 1st Class), or equivalent professional qualification or experience in a relevant discipline and a post graduate qualification in a related area is also essential.

Research is strongly supported within the Department and there will be some opportunities to contribute to teaching overseas.
