An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to work based learning experiences for the benefit of students, work based learning partners and academic staff. This role is based within the Work Based Learning Team in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. The post-holder will provide administrative support for the operation & further development of processes and activities to sustain and improve the quality of work based learning data held on corporate IT systems.

Contributing to the review, revision and improvement of data management processes including data migration and the development of processes within a new placement management system are the key purposes of this role.
You will have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of large relational databases and other corporate IT systems and experience of working with complex datasets to perform data quality checks and other monitoring functions.

You will have experience of running reports using third party reporting tools. Experience of quick assimilation of information and providing informed opinion, reports or specialist advice is essential in this role.

You must have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or be able to show equivalent experiential learning and be skilled in using MS Office suite.

You must demonstrate initiative and evidence of working unsupervised as well as the ability to collaborate within a team, a high degree of self-motivation and resilience, a positive, proactive and solution focussed approach and strong planning and organisational abilities, with demonstrable ability to prioritise workload.

You will need a demonstrable commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement and an awareness of confidentiality and data protection issues to be successful in this role.
