Lecturer in Psychology
The successful candidate will become part of close-knit and professional teaching team within the Department of Applied Psychology. We are seeking to appoint someone interested in teaching Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology and Research Methods, either qualitative or quantitative.
The post holder will be required to work closely with members of the Department and contribute to teaching across the Departmental Portfolio. The post holder will have a flexible approach and be interested in supporting students throughout their academic studies from Foundation Year through to research degree levels. The role will involve playing an integral part in the student experience and the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and delivery of blended academic teaching materials.
The successful candidate will have a developing research profile in an area complementary to the Department's existing research portfolio. The post holder will be able and willing to develop our enterprise activities. The post holder will also be actively involved in all team activities within the department and will contribute to weekly staff meetings and quarterly planning meetings.
