This is a key role in providing high quality services to students. You will be responsible for the appointment and development of Associate Lecturers who support and present work shop learning, oversee practice placements for students and for overall management of the delivery of the Social Work degree in England. As a full member of academic staff in the Faculty, you will also be expected to contribute to the broader presentation of modules and awards.

You will need a Social Work qualification and be HCPC registered with a good first degree or equivalent; a sound understanding of the needs of adult learners; the ability to promote the Faculty's modules, programmes and awards to individuals and corporate customers; the skills required to develop and maintain local partnerships; good interpersonal, communication, team working and organisational skills and an understanding of current issues in social work/social care education.

As this is a homeworker contract, travel to attend meetings in Milton Keynes and wider travel across the whole of the south of England including the Isle of Wight is an essential part of the role. We would expect the post holder to live within or close to Hampshire.
