We wish to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic patient and public involvement and engagement coordinator / senior research associate, either on an academic or professional services pathway, to promote and support best practice in PPI&E in the Centre for Academic Primary Care (CAPC).

You will work closely with CAPC researchers and the PPI&E Strategy Group to ensure the delivery of high quality PPI&E during the development of grant applications, for ongoing projects and during dissemination of research results. You will also work with and develop a network of lay members and focus groups to contribute to PPI&E within CAPC.

CAPC numbers around 90 research, teaching and professional services staff and, along with our PhD students, we are based in the highly successful Bristol Medical School. As a founding member (in 2006) of the NIHR School for Primary Care Research (NIHR SPCR), CAPC is one of the country’s most successful and influential centres of academic primary care. We publish world leading and internationally relevant research, and deliver highly rated teaching, both to undergraduate Bristol medical students (across all five academic years and in several vertical teaching themes) and postgraduates (PhD student supervision and contributions to the world-renowned Bristol Medical School short course programme).
