REGISTRY SERVICES

Working close with the university’s Academic Registrar, the Deputy Registrar will support the day-to-day management of Registry Services and will specifically oversee the operations of student academic record-keeping, transcript issuance, timetabling, and examinations. Key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with UKVI, University accreditation and regulatory requirements and liaising with University Board colleagues as required on these issues.

The Deputy Registrar will also actively contribute to key events throughout the student’s study experience, including Orientation, course timetabling, examination and graduation, playing a key role in maintaining the quality and integrity of student record data.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience of working in a similar role in either the US or UK higher education systems. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience of negotiating positive outcomes, and balancing the demands of a busy role.

With proven experience as a dependable line manager, you will quickly build a rapport with students and colleagues alike, and strive for excellent service to all stakeholders. An undergraduate degree or equivalent working experience is required, together with strong IT skills.

Experience of contributing to the procurement and implementation of a new student record system is highly desirable. This post offers an ideal opportunity for an able manager to further develop their skill base and operational levels of responsibility.
