The School of Medicine brings this to life through innovation and excellence in health research, education and service. The school offers a postgraduate medical program, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate programs and courses in public health, environmental health, health services management, First Peoples' health, academic health practice and paramedicine. Our focus is to produce graduates who, through application of knowledge and skills, are able to develop a commitment to service, teamwork, scientific inquiry and lifelong learning.
This position oversees the implementation and is responsible for the educational quality of learning and assessment activities in the DLEPP theme across the four years of the MD. As a senior academic in the School of Medicine, the person appointed will also contribute to the broader mission of the School through scholarly and service activities as negotiated with their supervisor. It is based at the Gold Coast Campus but travel to other locations will be required.
This is a full time, continuing position based at the Gold Coast campus, however travel to other campuses will be required.
The successful applicant will possess postgraduate qualifications at doctoral level or evidence of an equivalent, coherent, extended program of scholarship. Your knowledge, skills and leadership in high quality curriculum development in DLEPP, coupled with your experience in education of medical students, will be essential.
Senior Lecturer (Level C): $113,326 - $130,675 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $132,593 - $152,891 per annum.
Associate Professor (Level D): $136,454 -$150,331 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $159,652 - $175,888 per annum.
