Department of Accountancy and Law
Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (PR391/17-18)
The Department invites applications for the above position. Applications in all accounting fields will be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Accounting Information Systems or Corporate Governance.
Applicants should have a relevant PhD degree. Candidates for Professor/Associate Professor ranks should also have a strong track record of research and teaching accomplishments. In addition to undergraduate and graduate teaching and high-quality research work, the appointees are expected to supervise postgraduate thesis.
The appointment is offered on a tenure track. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to three years commencing the second semester of 2018-19 academic year or earlier. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Outstanding candidates at Associate Professor or above rank may be considered for tenure on appointment.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
