About the role

This position is a joint appointment between the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering and the School of Computer Science and Engineering. The successful candidate will conduct research in Medical Image Processing and/or Medical Informatics that has international impact, teach courses in GSBmE and CSE, and contribute to the administration of the schools (GSBmE and CSE), Faculty and University.

The appointment would be:

  • At Level B ($103K - $121K) or Level C ($125K - $143K) plus (17% superannuation and leave loading and annual leave loading) per annum, commensurate with academic qualifications and experience
  • Full-time
  • to a Convertible Tenure Track Employment Contract for an initial fixed term period of 5 years, with conversion to continuing appointment based on satisfactory performance and there being sufficient productive work available

The Faculty reserves the right to offer an appointment on a continuing basis or to directly appoint to advertised positions. 

About you

We are looking for an early to mid-career academic in Medical Image Processing and/or Medical Informatics that will have international impact in research, can contribute to the Faculty’s education strategy and contribute to administration in the schools (GSBmE and CSE), Faculty and University.
