Senior Lecturer in Imaging
The School of Medicine wishes to appoint a Senior Lecturer for this exciting area of provision. The successful candidate will lead on the delivery and development of our Imaging curriculum within the School
The role will require the successful candidate to contribute to make a major contribution to achieving the academic objectives of the School of Medicine through teaching, scholarly activity, research outputs and knowledge transfer activities.
Primarily through providing programme leadership for Imaging related programmes - undertaking strategic development and course management responsibilities for the co-ordination of development and delivery of these programmes. Whilst taking overall responsibility for managing delivery of the imaging related content in the school's diverse degree provision (undergraduate and post graduate).
This exciting position will additionally lead in the development of imaging programme curriculum to implement best practice and innovative ideas with the goal of creating a sustainable and valued programme[s]. Working productively as part of a team providing support for module leaders and collaborative providers, contributing to scholarship linked to research interests in the school of Medicine that advances the discipline and / or disseminates good practice. Possible through the engagement in commercial / income-generating / CPD activity.
To be equal to the challenge, you will need a significant level of teaching experience in higher or further education, along with experience of supporting students and course co-ordination. Your track record will include experience of managing competing demands, and you will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Blackboard.
You will hold a relevant higher degree in a related discipline, alongside proven interpersonal skills to work with industry, academic, clinical and management colleagues at all levels and develop strong working relationships with senior stakeholders.
