Outdoor Instructor Graduate Placement
The School of Sport & Wellbeing is seeking a highly motivated UCLan student or recent graduate to join the team as an Outdoor Instructor Graduate Placement. The successful candidate will work as part of the Outdoor Delivery team within the School of Sport and Wellbeing, contributing to the planning and delivery of high quality educational outdoor activities to a range of internal and external clients as appropriate. S/He will also support the delivery of the outdoor practical modules of the degree programmes and maintain outdoor equipment / stores and other resources.
Responsible for contributing to the planning and delivery of educational outdoor activities to a range of internal and external clients as appropriate, the successful applicant would be supported for the study of a related higher degree, as appropriate. Maintenance and storage of outdoor equipment to comply with industry regulations and manufacturer guidelines will be a key duty for the post holder. Holding an undergraduate degree obtained at UCLan, the successful candidate will have a First Aid Qualification and full driving licence, along with good interpersonal, IT and communication skills.
Please note that the terms and conditions for this role are different to those of other roles at the university, as this is a placement role.
