About the position

Opportunities exist for enthusiastic Exercise Scientists with specialisms in one or more of the following: biomechanics, exercise physiology, exercise prescription, and exercise psychology who are excited by the possibility of working in an interdisciplinary allied health environment. You will deliver subject specific curriculum using teaching methods that engage and inspire students. You will also contribute to the administration and coordination of subjects at our Bendigo campus on our fully Exercise and Sports Scienec Australia accredited degrees in exercise science and exercise physiology. The role will also provide you with the opportunity to work with established researchers in the Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Research Focus Area and, where appropriate, contribute to the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.

Skills and Experience

The applicant is expected to:

  • Have a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science or closely related area;
  • Have a PhD (or nearing completion) or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate;
  • Contribute to the effective co-ordination and teaching of subjects which provide a high quality learning experience that engages undergraduates and postgraduates; and
  • Commence in Semester 2, 2018 starting in July.
