Job Description:

We are seeking a Research Associate to work in the Gas Processing Center (GPC), College of Engineering, Qatar University. The ideal candidate must be of Chemical Engineering background or a related field with strong credentials in oil/gas research related to water treatment and/or CO2 capture and utilization. A background in numerical methods and optimization is highly desirable. The candidate is expected to initiate and contribute to attracting external funding and strengthen the GPC research output. The ideal candidate must show a strong track record of published work. Most importantly, the GPC is looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented researcher who is interested to work and support different research projects at the Center.


1. A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

2. Strong publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals

3. At least five years' experience in mentioned research fields.

4. Excellent technical and writing and communication skills.
