Cranfield is a world-renowned, exclusively postgraduate University, creating leaders in technology and management.
Communications and External Affairs (CEA) is the professional services lead responsible for enhancing and protecting Cranfield’s reputation, engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders and raising awareness of Cranfield’s brand and its distinctiveness.
The Events Team organise and support a variety of University led events both on the Campus and externally around the UK and sometimes abroad.
You will play an important role in providing administrative and practical support to the Events Team. The role will include assisting at events both on and off campus where required and helping to support the Events Team with the organisation and promotion of events.
You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent qualifications or work experience. You will be well-organised, customer-focused and have plenty of initiative. Computer literacy is essential along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience working in an events role is preferred but not essential.
