The Global Development Portfolio is responsible for making RMIT genuinely global in operations and outlook. Under the leadership of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Development) and Vice President, the portfolio:
- leads and coordinates RMIT's global education partnerships,
- identifies, reviews and harnesses opportunities to further enhance RMIT's global model,
- coordinates enterprise-wide fundraising and alumni activities,
- manages global mobility opportunities for RMIT students.
The Role & Your Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity to join our dynamic team to support a wide-ranging communications function for RMIT's Global Development portfolio. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple functions within the portfolio, developing and delivering high quality content and campaigns to support teams including Philanthropy, Global Experiences (study abroad), Global Development and Performance (international partnerships). In this role you will create and coordinate content including news and editorial, photography and video, as well as delivering campaigns across multiple channels including web, EDM, social media that help deliver real world outcomes for students and the university. You will also work with and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across the portfolio and the university to deliver campaigns.
Skills & Experience Required
As the successful candidate you will demonstrate organisational skills and experience in coordinating the production and delivery of communications projects. You will have strong writing and production skills and a passion for creating great content that connects with audiences. In addition, you will have experience delivering campaigns across multiple channels including web, EDM and social media; and you will be able to work with a range of platforms including email marketing systems and content management systems. Key to this role is the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and building good relationships; as well as working across a wide variety of tasks with enthusiasm and initiative.
