About the Job
The Finance Unit is the central business unit which provides financial services to the University and is part of the Resources Portfolio led by the Chief Operating Officer.
As the Administrative Officer, you will provide intuitive administrative and logistical support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), three Associate Directors, Managers and broader Finance Unit. You will use judgement to independently assess, analyse and report on matters ensuring a high degree of confidentiality. You will be an integral part of the team that contributes to the smooth day-to-day operations for the Finance Unit.
Skills and Experience
To be eligible for this position, you will have post-Secondary qualifications in a relevant field or demonstrated administrative experience, knowledge and skills in providing administrative support to a senior manager and/or team in a diverse and complex organisation. You will be proficient across the entire Microsoft Office suite with a commitment to attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Your high level of interpersonal, relationship-building, communication and organisation skills will help you work in a complex service environment, with a high level of tact, discretion and confidentiality.
