International Strategy and Partnerships Manager
Classification: Senior Manager 1
Salary package: $109,423 - $114,744 plus up to 17% superannuation
Terms: Full-time, Fixed Term appointment of 10 months (until April 2019)
The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region.
The International Strategy and Partnerships Manager leads the development of the College’s strategic partnerships, both domestic and internationally, with a geographic focus on Asia and the Pacific. The position coordinates and provides high level support to ensure the efficient operations of the Regional Institutes which bring together country and sub-regional inter-disciplinary expertise from around the College and the University. The position furthermore has oversight of the College’s Strategic Partnership budget.
Some domestic and international travel is required.
This opportunity is being offered as a fixed term appointment until the start of April 2019, to back-fill the substantive position occupant's period of secondment.
The ideal candidate will be appropriately qualified and experienced, with a professional background in business development within a complex environment. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated achievements in developing international business opportunities / partnerships, with the ability to advise, influence, develop and implement strategic initiatives.
