Information Technologist, Systems Administrator, HEO 6

- Salary range: $77,454 - $85,467 per annum plus 17% superannuation
About the Role
The Information Technologist: Systems Administrator is an integral member of a team of IT infrastructure specialists responsible for supporting and maintaining the University's server and storage environment including security and management systems, data management systems, and associated physical and virtual servers and operating systems.
In this diverse role, you will work collaboratively with other teams of IT professionals to ensure a stable and consistent platform to support learning, teaching, research and administration for staff and students across the University.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification (normally a degree) or equivalent knowledge and skills, combined with professional information technology experience in a complex computing environment comparable with that of the University. You will have extensive experience supporting and documenting infrastructure technologies associated with server and storage configuration and deployment. In addition you will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience in managing storage arrays, complex backup solutions and general data management.
