As a Helpdesk Administrator within Student Services, you will join a professional and responsive administrative team, working in a customer-focused environment. In this varied front line role you will be the initial point of contact for visitors to the faculty, responding to enquiries from prospective and current students, arranging staff appointments and managing assessment submission and return.
You will be a quick learner who retains information well and can adapt quickly to different working environments. The Helpdesk is busy and dynamic, as a result you will need to be well organised, flexible and enjoy working in a busy environment. An excellent communicator, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, you will provide a professional and efficient service to staff, students and external bodies.
Strong IT skills are a must, as you will use a range of electronic resources (Microsoft Windows 7, Office 2010, databases, email and websites). A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are also essential along with the ability to plan and prioritise your own work.
