Portfolio & Small Group Sessions Coordinator
The School of Medicine wishes to appoint a Portfolio & Small Group Sessions Co-ordinator to work within a committed and enthusiastic team. You will predominantly provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of portfolio across all years and small group teaching sessions across the School of Medicine, in Phase 1 MBBS /MPAS (Years 1 + 2 of the programme), but this can also extend to other courses in the School of Medicine, particularly the Physician Associate programme.
Duties will include:
- Administering and coordinating the portfolio including the e-portfolio of the School of Medicine across all years.
- Coordinating, administering and organising the effective delivery and evaluation of small group sessions across the School of Medicine Phase 1 programme.
- Coordinating, administering and organising the effective delivery of small group teaching in other School of Medicine courses, particularly the Physician Associate post graduate diploma programme.
You will bring to the role commitment to assuring the effective delivery of the small group teaching sessions and e-portfolio of the School. As a minimum, you will hold a range of GCSEs or have significant relevant professional experience in an appropriate area.
Experience of administrative procedures in an undergraduate medical education environment is essential alongside significant experience of organising updating and maintaining accurate computerised records and files. Utilising strong communication and organisational skills you will have an ability to multitask and organise others as well as deal with confidential and sensitive information.
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will maintain good working relationships with other healthcare professions and NHS partners and demonstrate flexibility in a fast paced, changing environment.
