You will join a team of highly qualified academics working within the Accounting and Financial Management Department.  The Department is particularly proud of its separate AACSB accounting accreditation, its commitment to an applied research agenda and the levels of student satisfaction on its programmes.  The successful candidate will contribute to research informed learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  Furthermore, you will undertake research, enterprise and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s research and enterprise and engagement objectives.

You must be able to demonstrate expertise in management accounting and ideally have some experience in data analytics or be willing to develop expertise in this area.  An interest in developing short courses (including CPD materials) is also be welcomed. 

You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to teach effectively on a range of programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning.  You should possess a high degree of citizenship with a keen emphasis on student satisfaction and the use of practical research in teaching.

You will have or be close to completing a Doctorate in accounting and ideally have published in relevant journals.
